The pervasive theme of CES 2025 was undeniably AI. Its integration wasn’t just incremental; it represented a leap forward in practicality and personalization. Smart glasses evolved beyond clunky prototypes, offering features like real-time assistance, question answering, and fact-checking. High-performance GPUs powered stunning next-generation graphics. Even robot vacuums showcased advanced capabilities, identifying and relocating debris strategically.

Samsung and LG Lead the Charge for Displays:

Samsung unveiled its ambitious “AI for All” vision, aiming to integrate AI seamlessly into daily life. This commitment was reflected in new products: OLED displays boasting a remarkable 500Hz refresh rate, a budget-friendly smartphone, and a new fitness tracker. The much-anticipated Ballie rolling robot, initially showcased last year, finally received a 2025 launch date.

LG countered with its LG G5 and M5 OLED TVs, featuring significant brightness improvements and enhanced AI features. Lenovo also made headlines with the world’s first rollable laptop.

The Automotive Playground at CES 2025 highlighted the ongoing advancements in AI-powered driving. Discussions centered on “Revolutionizing the Future of Driving: Unleashing the Power of AI,” featuring industry leaders from Honda, BMW, and Rivian. Mercedes-Benz showcased its ChatGPT-integrated virtual assistant, while Hyundai unveiled a futuristic holographic windshield display. Bold concepts, such as XPeng’s six-wheeled EV concept that doubles as a flying car launchpad, pushed the boundaries of multi-modal transportation. Nvidia announced new partnerships with Toyota and Aurora Innovation, further solidifying its role in the autonomous driving landscape. CES 2025 showcased a diverse range of AI-powered robots. TCL’s Ai Me companion robot charmed attendees with its childlike voice and endearing design, offering smart home control, security features, and family entertainment capabilities. Ropet, a playful pet robot, leveraged AI for lifelike interactions, emotional intelligence, and customizable features like interchangeable fur and faces.

Smart Eyewear: A Booming Market:

The smart eyewear sector exploded at CES 2025. Meta’s Ray-Ban smart glasses continued their popularity surge, while Google announced its Android XR platform. Halliday’s innovative frames offered an invisible display controlled by a smart ring, perfect for discreetly viewing information.
